At Jansamvedna Foundation, we work to help individuals from underserved communities develop practical skills and access opportunities that can lead towards sustainable livelihoods.

WHY LIVELIHOOD SUPPORT?

For many young people and adults, finding stable employment is difficult because they may not have access to quality training, career guidance, professional exposure or the resources needed to develop job-ready skills.

We believe that providing the right skills at the right time can help individuals become more confident, employable and financially independent.

Our livelihood initiatives focus on practical learning, personal development and connecting beneficiaries with suitable opportunities wherever possible.

WHAT WE DO

Our livelihood support may include:

  • Skill Development – Practical training based on relevant employment opportunities.
  • Vocational Training – Job-oriented courses that help participants develop useful skills.
  • Digital & Workplace Skills – Building basic digital knowledge, communication and professional skills.
  • Career Guidance – Helping young people understand career options and make informed choices.

  • Entrepreneurship Support – Encouraging individuals with the skills and confidence to explore self-employment opportunities.

GEETA
From Struggle to a New Career

Geeta grew up in a financially difficult household where even basic needs were a daily challenge. She had to leave school because her family could not afford to continue her education. With support and employability-focused skill training, Geeta developed new confidence and job-ready skills. Today, she is working at a multi-specialty hospital in New Delhi and contributing towards her family's needs. Her journey shows how the right skills can open a new path towards independence.

DIPTI
Turning Care into a Career

Dipti found her purpose in caring for others and chose nursing as her career. Through her dedication, compassion and practical experience, she learned how meaningful healthcare work can transform someone's life. Her journey reflects how vocational skills and the right opportunities can help young people turn their abilities into a profession while making a positive difference in their communities.

SARITA
Building Confidence Through Opportunity

Sarita faced financial and social challenges that eventually forced her to leave school after Class 10. She began to believe that her circumstances would limit her future. With an opportunity to work and support her family, Sarita gradually rebuilt her confidence and independence. Today, she works with a taxi drivers' association, contributes to her parents' income and has also decided to continue her education through open schooling. Her story is a reminder that a second chance can change the direction of a life.
